Fisher-Price Block Clock

There is still something magical about wooden toys, they are beautiful and evoke a real sense of tradition. The Fisher-Price Block Clock is one such toy, a wooden clock that will help to teach your little ones’ different shapes and introduce them to counting and telling the time.

The clock features brightly coloured animals in the centre, these include a lion, monkey, zebra, elephant, fox and a giraffe. The animals are friendly looking and promise to catch your child’s attention. The centre of the clock also features a red minute hand and a blue hour hand which can be moved to demonstrate how a clock’s hands work. There is also a circle of numbers which increase by five to help teach the basics of the clock.

The different coloured shape blocks include a few of the more well-known shapes like a circle, square and star. But you’ll also be able to discuss other shapes like an octagon, cross and even a pentagon. The shapes each have a number on them so it’s also an opportunity to learn counting. The clock is light, so your child will be able to pick it up themselves, and it’s also great quality.

The Fisher-Price Block Clock is available for a recommended retail price of R399 from toy stores and online retailers. Check out some other pictures of the clock in the gallery below:

Thanks to Fisher-Price for reminding us how beautiful wooden toys really are.
