The Durban Expo Centre was bustling again this year when the MamaMagic show pulled into town. There was an excited buzz in the air as pregnant moms, families with little ones, and even grandparents filed through the doors to see what The Baby Expo had to offer this year.
As I browsed through the stands on the show floor, I saw some familiar brands and some of the hottest new products on display too. The sounds of Barney’s popular songs drifted through the air as big purple dinosaur balloons floated next to happy little faces. You were able to chat to the different people at the stands and get expert advice on the best pregnancy and parentings brands, and then give your kiddies the chance to dive into the soft play area at the Huggies Zone or let them test out the awesome LEGO Duplo area.
Moms could relax knowing nappy changes and feeding times were taken care of with the Pampers nappy changing facilities and a private feeding area. The free talks at the Huggies Expert Lounge were always busy, with parents able to learn about different topics from various experts. Baby City offered great deals, and I saw many happy moms and dads leaving with new goodies for their kids, ranging from packs of wet-wipes to boxes of nappies and also a few spoils of new toys.
The MamaMagic show is your one-stop shop if you’re a pregnant mom-to-be, or parents looking for advice or great deals on the different brands available in the South African market. The Baby Expo will be heading to Cape Town next between the 27th and 29th of October.
