Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge – Captain Jack is back!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge is a return to the swashbuckling adventurous fun that we first fell in love with in the original Pirates of the Caribbean. From start to finish you can expect to soak in a good ol’ fashioned pirate adventure with lots of the humour that this series is famous for, along with tons of action, a touch of mystery, and a strong story that continues to unfold right up until the last minute.

Salazar’s Revenge introduces us to new characters and also sees the return of familiar faces from the series. Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) is back, although a little down on his luck. He soon becomes determined to track down the legendary Trident of Poseidon after discovering the ruthless Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem) and his deadly crew of ghost sailors are hunting him down. Jack is forced to team up with a young Royal Navy sailor named Henry (Brenton Thwaites) and an ambitious astronomer called Carina (Kaya Scoledario), who are also seeking the Trident, albeit for very different reasons.

The Pirates of the Caribbean is back, and it’s better than ever

Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge is a fantastic journey, it marks the series return to its roots and promises not to disappoint newcomers and fans alike. Despite being the fifth in the series, it’s quite arguably the strongest to date and has breathed new life into the characters by offering us a glimpse into their pasts that we hope will bring us a new adventure into their futures. It was incredible in 3D, and comes highly recommended from a Pirates fan who has happily laid her skepticism to rest and once again believes in the magic that Captain Jack Sparrow can deliver.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge will be hitting the big screen this Friday, the 26th of May.

Great to hear Cap’n Sparrow is back to his adventures 😉 Also happy to know that the series is still going stronger than ever – there’s always room in the cinema for some good blockbuster swashbuckling! 😉

It definitely left me wanting more, so I’m hoping this isn’t going to be Captain Jack’s last adventure on the high seas!

Definitely! It’s like another Uncharted – we’ll keep coming back for more new stories for as long as they make them 😉

I’m delighted that they finally managed to recapture the spirit of the very first movie and serve that goodness up. I say go out on a high and let this one be the last.

Haha, the logical and pragmatic approach? That’s always the most sensible, but when it comes to Hollywood magic and the dreams of film makers and their fans? Bah, never 😉

(Although I can think of a few videogame/movie/TV series that could have used your advice! 😉 )

When you guys see the movie you’ll want another one, guaranteed! The opening action sequence was awesome, hilarious, and mind-blowing, all at the same time…and that is quite a feat to achieve.
