The Gruffalo’s Child 15th Anniversary Edition

As well as celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Gruffalo this year, we are also celebrating 15 years of The Gruffalo’s Child. There is a stunning new 15th Anniversary Edition of the book, complete with a wrap-around snowy wood play scene, press-out characters as well as additional book content including material from author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler.

The Gruffalo’s Child is the sequel to The Gruffalo and sees the Gruffalo’s child disobeying her father’s warnings that “no gruffalo should ever set foot in the deep dark wood.” One wild and windy night she ventures out in the snow, not scared because the Big Bad Mouse doesn’t really exist…does he?

Your children will be as captivated by the rhyming text and beautiful illustrations in this book as they were with The Gruffalo, making sure this adventure of the Gruffalo’s child in the deep dark wood remains a favourite for storytime.

You can pair this with The Gruffalo’s Child 15th Anniversary Sticker Book for your little bookworm. This fun sticker book has over 400 stickers as well as activities and games, perfect for holidays, long car trips and rainy days.

The Gruffalo’s Child 15th Anniversary Edition and The Gruffalo’s Child 15th Anniversary Sticker Book are available from bookstores and online retailers for a recommended retail price of R155 and R130 respectively. They are recommended for children aged 3 to 7 years.

Thanks to Pan Macmillan for sharing these beautiful 15th Anniversary Editions with us.
