As a mom being prepared is important to me, and sticker books are always on the list of fun things for my children to do. Whether it’s to keep little hands busy while traveling in a car, friends entertained while away on holiday, or even just to help pass the time while indoors on a rainy weekend, sticker books are one of my favourite choices as they always seem to be a winner!
My children love the stories from Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks, and we have both The Singing Mermaid and Sugarlump and the Unicorn books so these two new sticker activity books, which are based on the bestselling children’s books, are a great pick.
Each sticker book features over 400 stickers, with your child able to enjoy different activities including sticker scenes, games, puzzles and jigsaws in each sticker activity book. Your child will recognize the characters and scenes from the books in each activity, and there are beautiful stickers to use that are easy to peel and stick.
I love that the sticker activity books are big, making it easy for a child to work on the activities inside. The books along with the stickers are brightly coloured too, making the time they spend with the book fun. Stickers are great for fine motor development and the different activities in the book will also challenge your child to complete puzzles, spot the difference, join the dots, figure out a maze and even finish a wordsearch.
The Singing Mermaid Sticker Activity Book and Sugarlump and the Unicorn Sticker Activity Book are available from book stores and online retailers for a recommended retail price of R130 each. They are recommended for children aged three to seven years.
Thanks to Pan Macmillan for sharing these beautiful sticker books with us.
