The end of the year rush is already upon us. Schools are out, shopping centres are about to get even busier, and Christmas shopping can become more of a chore than it’s meant to be. That’s what makes online shopping so great, ordering your presents from your home without the fuss!
Takealot.com has a wide range of toys for parents to choose from this holiday season. The title for Takealot’s top selling toy has been a tough battle, with LEGO, Nerf, Paw Patrol and Hatchimals all making a dash to cross the finishing line first. But it was the Jeronimo Roadster that took first place and the coveted title this year.
Want to see what toys have been popular on Takealot.com this year in terms of sales? It may help you to find some inspiration for your own Christmas shopping!
The Jeronimo Roadster (R2449) was the top toy in the Toys to spoil them category (over R500). The Caterpillar Massive Machine (R1609) also made an appearance along with both the Hatchimals Twins Purple Egg and Hatchimals Surprise Pink Egg (R1299 each). The Nerf N-Strike Elite Accustrike Series Alphahawk (R655) rounds off the list.
The Toys on a budget category (under R500) saw Barbie Dolphin Magic Snorkel Fun Friends (R385), the Paw Patrol Electronic Pup Pad (R485) and the Paw Patrol Large Plush (R199) being featured. LEGO Clocks and Watches Boys LEGO Star Wars (R315), LEGO Classic Creative Supplement Bright (R265) and PJ Masks Light Up Figures (R179) were also popular choices.
Let’s not forget the Top tech buys for 2017, something special for under the tree for older children or even for hubby. Take your pick between the Xbox One S500GB (R3999) and the PS4 Slim 1TB (R5999), and finish it off with FIFA 18 (R979) or Call of Duty: World War 2 (R975).
Did you buy any of these toys, or are any on your Christmas shopping list this year? My top picks for my daughter would have to be the Barbie Dolphin Magic Snorkel Fun Friends and the Paw Patrol Large Plush, although I’m sure the Hatchimals Twins may make an appearance on her wishlist too!
