Oi Frog! Jigsaw Book is a special jigsaw book edition of the popular and very entertaining Oi Frog! rhyming story. If you’ve read Oi Frog! you will know that frogs sit on logs, cats sit on mats, and gorillas sit on pillars. Now authors Kes Gray and Jim Field will challenge young readers to put the pieces together (quite literally!) in this interactive book to solve the riddles.
Each page features a simple four piece puzzle, each puzzle is colour-coded to help little hands and also sturdy to ensure even toddler’s can enjoy this title. You’ll be asked a question, for example “What do frogs sit on?”, and then need to complete the puzzle in the inlay to get the answer. Of course, if your little one has read the Oi Frog! series before, they will know the answers but will still enjoying putting together the puzzle and reciting the rhyme.
The artwork in Oi Frog! Jigsaw Book is bright and bold, instantly recognisable if you’ve read Oi Frog! before. This is a fun new way to read a book, and to teach your children the basics of early puzzle building too. I always enjoy reading time that is interactive and the rhyming humour in this still makes Amy and I laugh. It’s also just as easy to slot it into your bookshelf, the puzzles are all inside the book so don’t cause any hassles with storage.
