Rowley Jefferson’s Awesome Friendly Spooky Stories (Book Review)

Rowley Jefferson’s Awesome Friendly Spooky Stories is the new book in this fun middle-grade series by Jeff Kinney. If your children love the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books as much as mine do then I know they will enjoy reading these Awesome Friendly Spooky Stories.

Rowley Jefferson’s Awesome Friendly Spooky Stories

Rowley’s imagination is running wild, and right into the spooky realm of vampires, ghosts and werewolves. Your kids will delight in reading these fun, spooky stories filled with hilarious illustrations that will have them laughing out loud.

The 14 stories are quite short, making it great to read one or two stories before bedtime (if you dare!). From a boy discovering he’s a werewolf and embracing his new true self in The Changing to a ghostly prank against The Prankster that will have you giggling and even a baby vampire who ends up making lots of new friends in The Biter. Rowley’s best friend Greg Heffley also makes an appearance in The Demon where the pair get more than they bargained for when they watch a scary movie at a sleepover.

Great for reading aloud to your children or for confident readers to enjoy reading alone, Rowley Jefferson’s Awesome Friendly Spooky Stories is perfect for children aged 8 to 12 years to scare themselves silly!

Rowley Jefferson’s Awesome Friendly Spooky Stories is available in hardback for a recommended retail price of R230. You can also check out Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid: Rowley Jefferson’s Journal and Rowley Jefferson’s Awesome Friendly Adventure.
