The Fuzz-Fuzz (Book Review)

What is the Fuzz-Fuzz? Have you seen it? I’ve heard that it it’s “next to the wallah-wallah bing-bang”.

The Fuzz-Fuzz is a delightful new children’s picture book from local author Jennifer Lindridge. It’s filled with plenty of repetitive tongue twisty fun and wonderfully imaginative characters that will have your children giggling with glee.

The Fuzz-Fuzz

Have you heard of a wallah-wallah bing-bang? How about zip-zip-zap-zop? You’ll soon discover these entertaining made-up words and more when you head out on an adventure together with Dev and Jenn as he tries to help his friend to see what he sees. But will she finally be able to see the Fuzz-Fuzz?

The charmingly creative illustrations by Tori Stowe will have your children leaning in closer to try and spot the Fuzz-Fuzz, as they search for the small clues often left hidden within the detailed spreads. Your children will be wondering out loud what exactly the Fuzz-Fuzz is and, even once they know the secret revealed at the end of the book, they’ll be begging you to read it again so that they can enjoy the fun experience all over again.

The Fuzz-Fuzz is a little bit whimsical rolled up in a whole lot of fun, a book that will encourage interaction and guarantee laughter during story time. Don’t be surprised if you hear “five jumps from babble-de-boon” or “a slip and slide and wiggle from the zoogle” come up in your children’s conversations!

The Fuzz-Fuzz is available for a recommended retail price of R110.
