Usborne children’s books – look out for the Usborne balloon!

Usborne is a children’s book publisher, an independent, family business based in the UK that creates books for children of all ages. Penguin Random House South Africa is now bringing this amazing range of children’s books to our shores, so keep an eye out for the Usborne balloon the next time you’re browsing your local book store!

This publisher conceives and writes almost all their children’s books in-house, and with over 3000 titles to choose from there is an Usborne book for every child. This includes the popular That’s not my…touch and feel books, the Sticker Dolly Dressing books, as well as lift-the-flap information books and educational picture books.

Upon reading up on Usborne books I learned that many of this publisher’s books are designed as ‘talk-about’ books. What this means is that you can share the books with your child and then talk about them together. I’ve had first-hand experience with this thanks to the wonderful selection of Usborne titles Penguin Random House sent to me recently, let’s look at what Usborne books we’ve been reading in our home. Check out my full reviews of these books and be sure to let me know which is your favourite! These and other Usborne books are available in book stores and online retailers now.
