A Christmas box for the kids this December: a guide to my top picks

I love the festive season, with decorating sparkling Christmas trees, singing along to beautiful carols, and spoiling our loved ones with presents my heart is just happy. It’s holiday time to spend together with friends and family, eating watermelon and ice cream by the pool and racing through sprinklers on warm summer afternoons…what’s not to love?

It really is the best time to enjoy the magic of imagination with your children, and with all the wonderful Christmas goodies in stores it inspired me to put together a Christmas box for my children. I’ve chosen some Christmas products that I know my kids will love, and I’ll be giving them this box on the first of December so they can enjoy unwrapping the surprises and using the Christmas items for the whole Christmas holidays.

I love sharing a cup of hot chocolate as we read a book together in the afternoons, so I just knew I had to have this cute Father Christmas mug inside the box. My kids love stickers and crafting, so these Christmas stickers are a perfect fit to help them make some cards for the family. They always enjoy pulling crackers so I thought why not kick December off with a bang and pop a little cracker inside!

It’s just not Christmas without a sweet Lindt Teddy and I added a reindeer lollipop for some extra fun. It’s never too early to have some festive dress-up fun so I added this happy reindeer headgear in. And who says we can’t have a white Christmas here in South Africa now thanks to this fun snowball pack.

All these special treats will be wrapped up inside this awesome Christmas box, with Santa floating in a pool it’s the perfect way to kick off a Southern Hemisphere celebration!
