If you’re a fan of Julia Donaldson’s amazing children’s titles then you will also know that Axel Scheffler is the illustrator of these books. He has brought these rhymes in this new book and CD set to life with brightly coloured illustrations that your kids will love.
As with the Mother Goose’s Nursery Rhymes title, this book includes 12 rhymes along with a read-along CD of the rhymes. We have enjoyed spending time with the rhymes in this book, and my two children have loved being able to listen to the rhymes on the CD as well. It’s great to follow the rhymes in the book while listening, and it’s a good choice for car trips too. Being a board book means it’s sturdy enough for little hands to hold, and the CD stores neatly inside the front cover making it easy to slot onto a bookshelf which is handy. The CD does come in a slip case so it can be protected if you do play it outside your house.
Nursery Rhymes are a great place for children to start their book journey. This makes this book a great gift for your little one or for another special little someone that you know.
