My very first space book

Space: the final frontier. It’s a subject that seems to capture our attention from when we’re still small…how many of us dreamt of being astronauts when we were younger, and how many of our own children still want to be astronauts now!

My very first space book is a wonderful introduction to space for young children. Filled with bright colourful illustrations, interesting facts and amazing details, this book is sure to both captivate and inspire your children.

With detailed information about the Moon and the first landing on the Moon, to learning about space school and the space station, there is just so much for children to discover about space in this book. My daughter loved seeing how astronauts live in space, with their daily activities brought to life with fun illustrations. She particularly enjoyed spotting Chris Hadfield playing his guitar in one of the frames!

Your children will be able to learn about all the different planets in our Solar System and marvel at how we were able to explore Mars. They will learn so much about stars, including the different types of stars, the life of a star and even about constellations. All the information in this book is conveyed with simple language and wonderful illustrations to accompany the text.

My very first space book is available from book stores and online retailers for a recommend retail price of R215. It’s recommended for children aged 3 years and older. The book is a hardcover and has sturdy pages so will be safe in the hands of little ones too.

Thanks to Penguin Random House for introducing us to this wonderful Usborne title.
