What the Ladybird Heard 10th Anniversary Edition

The classic children’s book What the Ladybird Heard is celebrating it’s tenth birthday! That’s ten years of farmyard fun as the clever ladybird helps to thwart the plans of Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len to steal the farmer’s fine prize cow.

To celebrate there is a new What the Ladybird Heard 10th Anniversary Edition available, in addition to a beautiful gold cover it features bonus material and glitter on every page. Fans of the book will enjoy reading a letter from author Julia Donaldson and seeing never-been seen pictures from illustrator Lydia Monk’s sketchbook.

Children will delight in reading the rhyming story which features lots of animal noises and beautiful illustrations. After reading this book a few short times you’ll be amazed at how your children can now tell you so many of the phrases which are repeated throughout the book. In fact it won’t be long before they can read you the story! And the great news is that once your child falls in love with the ladybird there are two other adventures for them to read about in What the Ladybird Heart Next and What the Ladybird Heard on Holiday.

What the Ladybird Heard 10th Anniversary Edition is available from book stores and online retailers for a recommended retail price of R155. It’s recommended for children aged three to seven years.

Thanks to Pan Macmillan for sharing this beautiful anniversary edition with us.
