Bunnies on the Bus

Bunnies on the Bus is the new picture book from Philip Ardagh and Ben Mantle. It’s a wonderful rhyming story with a delightfully catchy refrain and beautifully detailed illustrations that quickly made it one of my top new titles for this year.

Please do judge this book by it’s cover, for it will give you an idea of how hilariously funny this story is. No matter how many times we read it we still love it, and that’s not counting us reciting the refrain even when we’re not reading it!

‘Bunnies on the Bus!

Bunnies on the Bus!

What’s all the fuss about

the Bunnies on the Bus?’

The rather naughty bunnies have taken over the bus and are causing havoc as they careen through the town. You will giggle as you see the crazy antics the bunnies get up to on the bus…as well as on top of the bus, behind the bus, and even underneath the bus.

But don’t let their shenanigans distract you from the two cunning masked squirrels who hatch a plan, rob a bank and even don disguises as the police give chase. There are so many delightful details to pour over in the illustrations, and the story lends itself to be read over and over again to your children.

Bunnies on the Bus is available from bookstores and online retailers for a recommended retail price of R194. It’s recommended for children aged three to seven years.
