Disney Christmas 2020: From Our Family to Yours (Gift Guide)

Disney is kicking off this festive season in a big way. Just watch this beautiful new Christmas advert to see what I mean. From Our Family to Yours is the theme of Disney’s festive campaign this year, and families across South Africa are encouraged to share their own festive memories on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using #FestiveWithDisney and #FromOurFamilyToYours.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the awesome gifts that Disney has stocked shelves with, there are lots of ideas for stocking fillers, toys, apparel, books and more from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars.

Whether you have a Star Wars fan or a Frozen fanatic in your home there is sure to be something to delight your little ones. From plush toys to dolls, from stationery to books, there’s LEGO to build and cars to race, there’s FUNKO Pops and superheroes – you’ll find amazing products from Disney for babies, pre-schoolers, kids, teens and even adults!

You can also visit one of five Disney plush toy-adorned Christmas trees in five shopping malls across the country. You can check out the festive fun at Sandton City and Clearwater Mall in Johannesburg, Woodlands Boulevard in Pretoria, Gateway Theatre of Shopping in Durban and Canal Walk in Cape Town. You can even bring cheer to families this holiday by donating R50 to secure one of the plush toys that, together with the donation, will be donated by the malls to the Smile Foundation and Reach for a Dream.

I’m sure by now your kids would have told you about the awesome competition that is being hosted by Disney together with Nedbank on the Disney Channel. Ten lucky viewers can win a magical Christmas-In-A-Box hamper worth R10 000 each including a R2000 Ackermans voucher. If you’re an existing Nedbank account holder you will receive a further R2000 cash. Make sure you watch snap a picture of Mickey Mouse in his Santa hat when he appears on screen on the Disney Channel (DSTV Channel 303) then SMS your details to stand a chance to win.
