This is the reality for the shareholders and directors of the hottest new music app, Snoop, all of whom have gathered for a corporate retreat. Erin, one of the hosts at the ski resort of Saint Antoine, notices the tension between certain members of the group. As the snow falls steadily and the temperatures plummet, the fear within the chalet builds as everyone begins to doubt one another. Accusations fly, truths surface and it doesn’t take long for paranoia to set in.
One by One by Ruth Ware is a gripping tale of friendship, alliances and assurances given, but also one of insecurities, sadness and ultimately revenge. One things for sure, when your life is at risk the stakes are suddenly much higher than millions of dollars and you can’t trust anyone.
