Top picks of the latest Onward books

Onward, the new animated film from Disney and Pixar, is now showing in cinemas. This heartwarming tale of two teenage elf brothers will make you laugh, but it’s also a poignant tale of love and loss. You can read my review to find out more about this new film.

Penguin Random House has a great range of film tie-in books to celebrate Onward’s release. If your children enjoy the film then they’re guaranteed to love the sticker book, colouring book and book of the film too.

Onward: Book of the Film (R120)

Your children will enjoy discovering the Onward story in this book of the film. This hardback book features brightly coloured illustrations and follows Barley and Ian on a magical adventure in a storybook retelling of the new film.

Onward: Ultimate Colouring Book (R85)

There are over 70 pages of colouring in this new book. Your children will delight in colouring the fun characters from the film, including Ian, Barley, Blazey and the Manticore. There is a variety to challenge them too, with copy colouring, part-coloured pictures to complete and even some fun drawing challenges and posters to colour.

Onward: 1001 Stickers (R105) 

This sticker and activity book is filled with games and puzzles, and lots and lots of stickers of course! If your child loves stickers then they will enjoy filling the sticker scenes with the stickers of characters from the film, there are even beautiful foiled stickers and a giant wall one too. With a maze, spot the difference and puzzles there is enough to give little ones hours of fun!
