K-Way Kids Ocelot 3-Ply Hoody Softshell

I don’t know about your kids, but at the first sign of rain my daughter is gearing up to go splashing in the puddles! Now with the new K-Way Softcell jacket on my side, I’m all for her to splash to her heart’s content, as long as she has her gumboots and hoody to make sure she’s not getting too wet.

The K-Way Kids Ocelot 3-Ply Hoody Softshell from Cape Union Mart is a fantastic choice if you’re an outdoors loving family like us. This jacket is not only windproof, but it’s water shedding too which means you can still enjoy playing outside with your kids even if the weather isn’t top-notch. The jacket has a large hood which is adjustable, it’s easy to tighten it to make it fit tighter over your kiddies head. The front of the hood will keep its shape, and helps to let the water just run off.

It’s available in a range of colours (including black/grey, black/red, cobalt/navy, and camo) but we went with the navy/royal option. The outside of the jacket is a lovely dark navy blue colour, while the inside is a lighter blue. Matching light blue elasticated cuffs, zips on the two pockets, and the adjustable hood strings complete the look. It also has a handy label inside which you can write your child’s name and a contact number on.

The outer shell of the jacket is very soft, it has four way stretch technology that makes it comfortable to wear and offers your kids the freedom to move, whether that’s jumping between rocks across a stream or searching for pine cones to collect in the forest. The inside layer is luxuriously soft, with a feeling of warmth that my daughter loved.

As the jacket is an investment for your child’s wardrobe, it’s best to use the Storm Wash in Cleaner and Storm Wash in Waterproofer when you’re cleaning it.
