Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands (Game Review)

Borderlands is one of my all-time favourite co-op multiplayer games. Exploring Pandora together with my friends online was epic fun, so many missions (I kicked some serious Skag butt as the Siren Lilith), SO many guns and so many fantastic characters. It was where we first met Claptrap, Mad Moxxi and so many others who would become beloved to gamers from around the world.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

So I couldn’t wait to jump back into the Borderlands inspired universe with Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands! In fact this game’s release had me counting down the minutes to the kids’ bedtime so I could fire up the Xbox and begin a new adventure together with Tina and my very own player two of course. Level 1 – ah, the endless opportunities to level up my character begins!

Tina unleashes mayhem upon the world with her epic Bunkers & Badasses tabletop boardgame, giving you the chance to step into the role of the Fatemaker as you take on the Dragon Lord on his stronghold atop The Fearamid. Tina provides hilarious commentary along the way, joined by headstrong captain Valentine and rules-obsessed robot Frette who also help you on your quest.

The Fatemaker is a fully customisable hero and as you play you’ll level up and upgrade your skillset. Keep an eye out for treasure chests where you’ll discover powerful gear to loot, especially handy to dispatch all the enemies that will come your way. We’re talking goblin gangs, smack-talking skeletons, sadistic mushrooms and giant bosses of course. The plethora of guns will once again delight, and come in very handy as you explore the stunning scenery and epic quests.

I’ve loved every minute I’ve spent with Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and I have no doubt that I’ll be spending many more hours in this world of fantasy with this first-person shooter. Once again this game truly shines with its co-op multiplayer, and you can invite up to three other players to join your party.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderland is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC. Please note that this game is rated 18+.

So the only question left to ask is, “are you ready to throw on your adventuring boots and save the Wonderlands, Fatemaker?”

Thanks to Prima Interactive for sending me this videogame in exchange for an honest review.
