Angry Owl Goes Swimming

Your favourite Angry Owl is back, and this time he’s decided to go swimming! Local author and illustrator Kerry Ponter has penned another fun story starring the Angry Owl, and just like the original Angry Owl title it features beautifully coloured and expressive pictures to accompany the tale.

Angry Owl is hot, and he wants to go for a swim, but not with all the other birds in the noisy pond, he prefers the quiet beach. He gets dressed in his swimming costume, armbands and flippers, and decides to take along his hat and beach umbrella too. He also thinks he may need his net and fishing rod, along with a bunch of other beach goodies.

Before you know it Angry Owl is ready to go, but weighed down by all of his beach gear he soon discovers he can’t fly and lands in the pond below. His embarrassment soon passes when he realises that he could only have the greatest swimming day ever when he shares it with friends!

Angry Owl Goes Swimming is a fun story that your children will enjoy sharing with you. It’s humourous and the pictures will have you giggling, but like Angry Owl it also includes a lesson to be learned. I can’t wait to see what adventure Angry Owl will take us on next!
