Pop-Up Peekaboo! I Love You

The Pop-Up Peekaboo! range from DK has been one of my favourite series of books for my little ones. It features bright, colourful illustrations and your child is guaranteed to love the pop-up surprise that awaits them under every flap!

It’s a board book so features sturdy pages, even the flaps are board so great for small hands. I did choose to store these books out of reach of my own children when they were younger because of the pop-up element, but I found it a good opportunity to teach them to be gentle with books and respect them, which they always have.

Smiley Sheep has a number of surprises in store for her in Pop-Up Peekaboo! I Love You. As your little one explores the book they will discover lovely balloons popping up from behind a curtain, a bunch of flowers in a box, and even some yummy chocolates. But who is sending these special surprises?

Your little one will love opening the flaps, some of them open to the right and some downwards, giving them the chance to develop their fine motor skills too. For February, the month of love, it’s a great way to discuss colours, shapes and objects, and to learn more about love too of course! Even Amy who is now five still enjoys reading these books together with Ethan, they promise to be a fun addition to your book collection and guarantee to get lots of smiles from your own little ones too.
