The Puzzle Play Set: My Play Farm from Priddy Books is a wonderful set that includes three chunky farm animal books and a giant jigsaw puzzle. It comes packaged beautifully in a colourful box that flips open (and seals shut again with Velcro) and neatly stores the books and puzzle together.
The three mini board books are each shaped like a different animal. The cow shaped book tells the story of Brown Cow who lives on the farm and likes to visit the other animals. You’ll meet Shirley Sheep and her best friend Curly Sheep in the sheep shaped book, and help Happy Pig find his missing piglets in the pig shaped book.
All three books are colourfully illustrated with friendly looking animals and feature simple stories that young children can understand and enjoy. They are small books, so easy for little hands to hold and they are easy to take along on outings too. Being board books they are also sturdy.
The giant jigsaw puzzle features the same animal characters from the books, who I’m sure your kiddies will recognise after spending time reading the books. The puzzle is also brightly coloured and challenges children to build the farm for the cow, sheep and pig using the 9 puzzle pieces. It’s a fun new way to build puzzles using the giant pieces, even if they may need a little help from mom and dad at first. They will also be able to use the jigsaw play mat to play on.
